Caravan Campeggio Rental Terms

Booking A non refundable booking deposit is required to secure your motorhome booking. The exact amount is detailed in the breakdown of pricing. A second stage payment of 30%(In case of booking for a wee-end 50% fo the total amount of the rental) is taken shortly after booking confirmation as a separate transaction. The remaining balance is due in full, 20 days before the commencement of hire otherwise the booking will be automatically cancelled and the deposit will be cashed.Minimum periods 15 days during August (Aug 1st-15th / Aug 17th-31st), 5 days during every holidays, 3 days during all other periods, In any case these periods can be changed according to our needs.No limit km Our fares for no limit Km is applied only in case of rentals longer than 14 daysRestrictions The driver should be aged over 21 and have driving licence of Level B held for at least 2 years, has his own bank account opened at least for 2 years and has his own credit card held for at least one year. Direction has the right to get information on the renter.Hand over The hand over of the vehicle will be on the evening before the first day of the agreed rental from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm Return The return of the vehicle has to be effected on the evening of the last day agreed for the rental by 6.30 pm. The vehicle has to be returned clean with empty tanks otherwise all penalties and all costs for the cleaning and for the restoration of the vehicle will be debited to the renter.Extentions the rental period can be extended upon prior request and according to Directions decisions, to the availability and against a confirmation by phone or by fax. Return day and time are imperative and any no authorized delay will be charged as a triple daily fare, further than the reimbursement of any damages caused by the late return.Repairing Every repairing effected during the rental period will have to be confirmed in advance by the Direction. The reimbursement of the expenses will be effected only against authorization and against invoice issued in the name of: Caravan Campeggio - Via Toscana ang. Via Erbosa - 51100 Pistoia P. I.V.A. 01291400479 and against the return of any changed piece and against the verify the the damage has not been caused by negligence or misused of the vehicle by the renter. Repairing will be reimbursed according to Italian fares and exchange risk is on renter's account Insurance Our fees include RC insurance with excess clause of € 250,00, theft and fire protection with excess clause of 10% and, in case of theft the insurance cover will be effective only if the docs and the keys are not inside the vehicle. Kasco insurance has a excess clause of 10% and minimum premium is € 1000. damages caused inside the vehicle, both volountary and not, are to be paid by the renter even if are caused by a third party. Equipment Each vehicle is equipped with logbook, Insurance certificate, green card, gas tanks, toilet paper and liquid, electric cable 220V, water pipe, broom, tools set, jack, triangle, lamps set which will be returned in good condition.Caution Money The renter has to give bail of € 1000 before departure. This unprofitable caution money will have to be paid by cheque or by credit card and will be given back to the renter in case the vehicle is returns in good condition, otherwise will be given back after the reparing.Delays Direction reserves the right of delaying the departure for a maximum of 48 hours in case of breakdowns or owing to circumstances beyond our control. In case the delays is more than 48 hours the renter will be authorized to cancel the rental and will be reimbursed of the total amount due. In any case the Direction will be obliged to pay any additional costs caused by the delay. Language We speak English, Spanish and French.Responsibility the management is not responsible nor for any damages that the travelers or their properties can have on their vehicles or for any possible irregularity: delays, any vehicles defects not verified before the departure, and so on. No responsibilities will be put down to the Rental Company for any additional expenses due to delays, illness, natural emergencies, strikes, quarantines, war or bad weather therefore all the consequent expenses will have to be paid by the renter. The management does not consider any direct assistance. Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts. Booking information To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed. Please note that a 1.75% credit card charge will be added when your payment is processed. A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier's terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date. If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website. Information disclosure In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.Amendments Please note that some suppliers treat an amendment as a new booking and apply the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is increased, an additional deposit may be required. If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply: Car rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency): To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 25.00 To add or remove extras to/from a confirmed booking: 10.00 Motorhome rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency): To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 75.00 To add or remove extras to/from confirmed booking: 20.00 The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible. Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
